Bill has been associated with Chartered Capital Advisers in New York for the past 25 years, where he has provided merger-related financial consulting services to a wide variety of clients. This has included interim financial management services for clients in a diverse range of industries, such as a CFO or controller. Prior to that, Bill had over twenty years of experience in financial management positions at several major retailers.

Through various non-profits, Bill is a mentor and sponsor for several dozen career-oriented students throughout the developing world, including in Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. In 2020, Bill initiated connected-tablet programs that have provided home study access for disadvantaged students in several developing countries.

Bill currently lives in New Jersey with his wife Sharon.
