Job Description: As a board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding our strategic direction, ensuring effective governance, and supporting the growth and sustainability of Africa Development Promise. Here's an overview of the responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance and support in alignment with our mission and goals.

• Participate actively in board meetings, bringing diverse perspectives and expertise.

• Contribute to the development and execution of organizational strategies.

• Assist in fundraising efforts and resource development initiatives.

• Act as an ambassador for Africa Development Promise, representing our values and initiatives.

• Serve an initial three-year term and then become eligible for reelection to a second three-year term, subject to review.

Qualifications:

• Passion for our mission and a deep commitment to making a positive impact.

• Experience serving on nonprofit boards or relevant leadership positions.

• Expertise in fundraising

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
