Scarlett Banks, a recent graduate from Carleton University, pursued her undergraduate degree in Global and International Studies with a specialization in Global Migration. Her passion for helping and empowering others is what drives her towards a career in the non-profit sector. 

During her studies she was dedicated to making a difference on campus and helping newcomers settle in. She served as a peer mentor for 1st year undergraduate students in the Global Studies program, for 3 consecutive years, and participated in many volunteering opportunities. She did an internship abroad, where she worked with a social justice organization helping underprivileged communities in Dublin, Ireland.

Scarlett strongly believes in the importance of helping women become self-sufficient and empowering them. She is excited to contribute her knowledge and skills to the role of Project Coordinator and to showcase the vision of Africa Development Promise.
