Rose Nakizito recently graduated from Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda, with a bachelor's degree in Social Science focusing on Gender Studies. Over the past five years, she has actively participated in ADP's Girls with Dreams Program. Due to her outstanding academic achievements, she earned a full scholarship to attend university.

As a program assistant, Rose is dedicated to creating a positive impact and driving meaningful change, particularly in improving women's livelihoods. Through her internship, she wants to promote gender equality, challenge gender stereotypes, and foster inclusive opportunities for women to thrive. Leveraging her background in Gender Studies, Rose supports women's empowerment initiatives, advocates for their rights, and amplifies their voices. She firmly believes that empowering women is key to creating a more just, equitable, and prosperous society for all.
