Janviere is an experienced professional who serves as a Resource Development Coordinator and formerly held the position of Country Manager of the Rwanda program at Africa Development Promise. With over five years of experience, she is very passionate about women’s empowerment, gender equality, and the economic development of women as well as improving their living conditions.

Janviere’s background includes serving as an Environmental facilitator at REMA (Rwanda Environment Management Authority) where she played several roles in environmental protection and implementation of environmental initiatives.

She joined Africa Development Promise as a Field Officer, where her contributions quickly earned her a well-deserved promotion to the position of Country Manager, in 2018.

In addition to that, Janviere has continued her journey in an international organization, where in 2022 she joined CECI (Centre d’etude et de cooperation international) as a volunteer in monitoring and evaluation.

Janviere has a Master of Development practices from Regis University, Denver, Colorado. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Sciences, with a specialization in rural development and agribusiness from the University of Rwanda— College of Agriculture, Animal Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine (UR-CAVM) former ISAE-Busogo.
